WASHINGTON – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces nine Mid-Atlantic team members were recognized nationally for performance excellence in 2021:
- Ken Marks received the Founder’s Award honoring his unwavering commitment to Transwestern’s guiding principles and delivering exceptional results for both clients and team members.
- Six local brokers, including Gerry Trainor, Alex Hancock, Dean Sigmon, Robin Williams, Caulley Deringer and Stephen Cloud were recognized for their 2021 transaction volume. In total, 39 brokers nationwide earned a spot in the firm’s coveted Champions’ Club.
- Patrick Crilley was honored with a Presidents’ Award for National Brokerage Rising Star.

- Capital Markets Deal of the Year: Dean Sigmon and Robin Williams
- Top Producer Capital Markets: Gerry Trainor

2021 was defined by a series of high-profile transactions and successes, including:
- Sigmon and Williams brokered the $154 million sale of Watergate Pointe, a 608-unit multifamily property in Annapolis, Maryland, on behalf of Castle Lanterra Properties.
- Trainor, Deringer, Cloud and Hassett arranged the sale of a 14-building, 735,000-square-foot industrial portfolio in Woodbridge, Virginia for $104.3 million on behalf of Finmarc Management.
- Trainor brokered the sale of Calverton Tower, a 209,500-square-foot office asset in Calverton, Maryland, on behalf of True North Management Group for $36 million.
- Hancock and Crilley leased 128,218 square feet of office space at Downtown Columbia, a 1.8 million-square-foot mixed-use development in Columbia, Maryland, on behalf of The Howard Hughes Corporation®.
- Deringer, Cloud and Hassett represented Kuehne & Nagel International AG in a 49,000-square-foot lease renewal at 22920 Ladbrook Drive in Dulles, Virginia.

Honorees were recognized at the firm’s annual National Recognition Conference. This year’s event, held in Scottsdale, Arizona, welcomed team members, clients and partners for two days of collaboration and celebration.
