Ashley Byrd

Ashley has been a driving force within the Transwestern Healthcare Advisory Services group since 2012. Serving as Managing Director, she leads a high-performing team of healthcare real estate professionals responsible for leasing over 3 million square feet of medical office building portfolio across the greater Houston area. Her leadership spans both day-to-day team operations and long-term strategic direction, ensuring clients receive best-in-class service and market insight at every touchpoint.

Her deep roots in the Houston medical community allow her to execute direct deals with some of the city's largest healthcare providers, while her team's collaborative approach amplifies impact across the full portfolio. Ashley is an innovator in marketing, and several of her creative initiatives have become national marketing standards within Transwestern.

She also specializes in Tenant Representation for hospitals, healthcare groups, and individual physicians, leveraging her vast knowledge of medical real estate to accommodate the specific needs of her clients.

Ashley joined Transwestern in 2012 with six years of prior healthcare and office leasing experience.

From 2016 through 2024, Ashley and her team completed over 932 transactions totaling more than $577 million in leases for healthcare clients. She has worked closely with numerous local and institutional clients including Healthpeak, Texas Children's Pediatrics, Texas Children's Hospital, Welltower, Memorial Hermann, HCA, Ventas, Lillibridge, MD Anderson, Vital Heart & Vein, and Complete Dermatology.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University.
