We’ve championed a culture of giving since our founding in 1978, supporting the communities in which we live and work through charitable organizations whose goals closely align with our own. Team members receive paid time off each year to serve a nonprofit initiative of their choosing. Additionally, our 33 Transwestern offices come together in support of a national philanthropy partner, underscoring the value of teamwork to achieve a shared goal.
From 2016 to 2019, Transwestern joined forces with Make-A-Wish,® raising more than $550,000 to grant 52 wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. We also supported Ronald McDonald House Charities for three years via both fundraising and participation in local chapter activities. In 2022, we reignited our partnership with Make-A-Wish, expanding our corporate giving opportunities.
Good ideas put into practice. That’s thinking beyond the obvious.
When war broke out in Ukraine, Transwestern came together to raise more than $11,000 for the Ukrainian developers who support our technology infrastructure and websites. The funds have been distributed to those displaced or otherwise affected, showing once again that Transwestern team members care for each other no matter how many miles there may be between them.
When Solomons plans of playing basketball for his high school team got sidelined, Make-A-WishTM stepped in to help out. Our collective support of Transwesterns national philanthropy partner ensures that wishes come true for kids like Solomon.
