We’ve championed a culture of giving since our founding in 1978, supporting the communities in which we live and work through charitable organizations whose goals closely align with our own. Team members receive paid time off each year to serve a nonprofit initiative of their choosing. Additionally, our 33 Transwestern offices come together in support of a national philanthropy partner, underscoring the value of teamwork to achieve a shared goal.
From 2016 to 2019, Transwestern joined forces with Make-A-Wish,® raising more than $550,000 to grant 52 wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. We also supported Ronald McDonald House Charities for three years via both fundraising and participation in local chapter activities. In 2022, we reignited our partnership with Make-A-Wish, expanding our corporate giving opportunities.
Good ideas put into practice. That’s thinking beyond the obvious.
Delylah is a 6-year-old girl with leukemia who asked Make-A-Wish for an outdoor playset. Transwesterns Phoenix office granted Delylahs wish.
Transwestern Anaheim coordinated a DEI volunteer event at the Orange County Rescue Mission. Volunteers were placed in the warehouse to sort and pack food, and in the kitchen to assist with lunch and dinner prep.
It was a morning packed with giving and camaraderie (and a lunch filled withwhat else?..Chicago pizza!) as a team of 60 turned out to volunteer at the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
