Pembroke Park, Fla. – Transwestern’s South Florida industrial team today announces it has negotiated 98,117 square feet of lease transactions at Seneca Industrial Park, an 885,000-square-foot, Class A distribution and warehouse park at 2500 SW 32nd Ave. in Pembroke Park, Florida. The deals bring the park to 100 percent occupancy.
Transwestern Managing Director Thomas Kresse, Senior Managing Directors Ben Eisenberg and Walter Byrd, and Vice President Carlos Gaviria provide leasing services on behalf of the landlord, TH Real Estate, an affiliate of Nuveen (the investment management arm of TIAA).
Best Buy, the multinational consumer electronics retailer, signed a new 27,256-square-foot lease. Craig Fetherston of the Shopping Center Group represented Best Buy. In addition, Ryder, a nationwide leader in fleet management solutions, supply chain management, and logistics, renewed its 70,861-square-foot lease. Tom O’Loughlin of CBRE represented Ryder.
The leases come on the heels of the Transwestern South Florida industrial team announcing it completed 112,233 square feet of transactions at Seneca Industrial Park in August, as industrial vacancy in the Southeast Broward submarket continues to trend below overall county rates.
