Carlos Gaviria is a senior associate with Transwestern’s South Florida office, where he assists the real estate advisory team of Ben Eisenberg, Walter Byrd, and Thomas Kresse. Recognized as one of the top advisory teams in the area, the team has represented some of the largest corporate users in the market, has leased properties on behalf of many major institutional owners, and has assisted in the acquisition and disposition of a wide range of real estate assets. In his role, Carlos will be responsible for tenant prospect identification and canvassing, maintaining key broker relationships, database management, client reporting, as well as new business development.


Prior to joining Transwestern, Carlos was an associate with Metro 1 Properties, where he headed the firm’s industrial services group. In this position, Carlos provided both landlord and tenant representation services for his clients and also assisted the firm in generating new business opportunities. Over the course of two years, he was involved in approximately 400,000 square feet of lease and sales transactions.


Carlos is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association, Beacon Council, One Community One Goal’s Trade & Logistics Taskforce and the Belen Alumni Association, Carlos received the 2012 “Rookie of the Year Award” for his contribution to Transwestern’s culture and success in the Miami Office.


Carlos graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and small business management.
