Previously, Katie served as vice president of U.S. Equities' asset management group, where she lead the leasing at 737 North Michigan Avenue, 939 North Avenue, 676 North Michigan and 150 East Huron, as well as being an integral part of the team leasing 515 North State. Katie was successful in keeping the majority of her 1.3 million square foot portfolio at 90% or better occupancy rate and played a key part in multiple building renovations, and building creative and effective marketing campaigns for each property. In the past, Katie represented such clients as UBS Realty Investors, Principal Real Estate Investors, and Omni Hotels Corporation.
Today, Katie represents a more diverse portfolio of assets, including large Class A loop properties, medical and mix-used buildings, and loft properties in River North. Recently she played a key role in guiding ownership through several building renovations at 200 W Madison, which was a 2016 TOBY award winner. And, at 150 E Huron, she was able to expand the office RBA in order to negotiate a 30,000 SF lease, ultimately bringing the building to 100% occupancy. Katie has developed a solid track record of successfully creating value for all her clients. At Tranwestern, she has represented major landlords including Bentall Kennedy, Northwood Investors, FD Stonewater, Fortress Investments, Shorenstein Realty, and Driftwood Hospitality.
