Katie currently represents a diverse portfolio of assets, including large, Class A towers, mixed-use buildings and loft properties throughout downtown Chicago. She played a key role in guiding 200 W Madison’s ownership through extensive building renovations – which earned them a TOBY Chicago and TOBY North Central Region awards in 2016. Recently, Katie co-led the leasing efforts of Mural Park, a two-building, new development in the emerging Chicago submarket of Pilsen. Following a substantial broker education campaign and targeted marketing efforts, Katie and the team quickly brought Mural Park to 70% leased, including a 100,000 SF lease for HCSC. Katie’s client list includes major landlords including Bentall GreenOak, Northwood Investors, FD Stonewater, Fortress Investments, Shorenstein Realty and Sumitomo Corporation.
Prior to joining Transwestern in 2013, Katie served as vice president of U.S. Equities’ asset management group, where she led the leasing efforts for 515 North State, 737 North Michigan Avenue, 939 North Avenue, 676 North Michigan and 150 East Huron. Katie was successful in keeping the majority of her 1.3 million square foot portfolio at upwards of 90% occupancy and played a key role in multiple building renovations. Additionally, she was involved in creating strategic, effective marketing campaigns for each property. In the past, Katie represented clients such as UBS Realty Investors, Principal Real Estate Investors and Omni Hotels Corporation.
