CHICAGO – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces it has represented building ownership on a lease expansion and a new lease at 191 N. Wacker Drive, a 37-story, 733,759-square-foot office building in Chicago’s West Loop submarket. Manulife Investment Management, on behalf of owners Allianz Real Estate and AZ/JH CO-INVESTMENT VENTURE (IL) LP., was represented by TRS’ Senior Vice Presidents Katie Steele and Kathleen Bertrand in the transactions.
The transactions include:
- Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, an international business litigation law firm, expanded and extended its lease from 18,864 square feet to a 26,300-square-foot space. Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan was represented in lease negotiations by Kyle Kamin of CBRE.
- Maron Marvel Bradley Anderson & Tardy LLC, a national litigation defense law firm, signed a new lease for 10,121 square feet. The space is one of two spec suites recently leased in the building. Maron Marvel Bradley Anderson & Tardy LLC was represented in lease negotiations by Jeff Liljeberg of JLL.

191 N. Wacker’s current availabilities include a 100,000-square-foot high-rise penthouse block with expansive views of the Chicago River and cityscape. Ownership is currently planning to build more spec suites to meet demand. 191 N Wacker also renovated the tenant lounge and fitness center in addition to a new, modernized lobby welcoming tenants to this West Loop, Class A asset.
