David Besserer

Dave has over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, with his first 12 years on the landlord side of the business, and since 1993, on the tenant advisory side. A complete working knowledge of both sides of the space acquisition process provides Dave’s clients with a seasoned professional with ’insider knowledge’ solely representing their interests.

 

Before joining Transwestern in 2012, Dave served as executive vice president and managing partner at Bradford Companies, where he was instrumental in creating a Tenant Advisory Services Division. Experience gained prior to joining Bradford includes developing David McDavid Corporate Services in 2002, a boutique brokerage firm dedicated to ’hands-on’ personalized service for office space users, and nine years with Fischer & Company, a Dallas-based tenant representation firm. Dave began his brokerage career in 1981 with one of the nation’s largest developers, The Vantage Companies, and was honored as the number one leasing agent for Vantage/Bradford Companies for seven out of 12 years during his tenure there.

 

Representative transactions include Dr. Pepper (Plano corporate headquarters build-to-suit, 275,000 square feet), First Data Call Center (Ft. Lauderdale build-to-suit, 175,000 square feet), Federal Express Regional Distribution Center (Philadelphia build-to-suit, 150,000 square feet) and Securus Technologies (Dallas, 150,000 square feet). Representative portfolio management clients include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fujitsu Microelectronics, Federal Express, Chrysler Credit, First Data and Teradyne, Inc.

Dave is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and an active member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and The Real Estate Council (TREC).
