TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As Executive Vice President of Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions, Matt specializes in tenant representation including financial and market analysis and long-term strategic planning. He has a particular expertise in addressing the real estate needs of associations, nonprofit organizations, law firms and other professional services companies. Prior to joining Transwestern, Matt was the co-head of West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors’ Law Firm Practice Group and has worked extensively in the downtown and suburban Washington, DC office market.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Matt concentrates on providing creative real estate solutions to associations, not for profit organizations, corporations, professional service company and law firms in the Washington, DC area.  As a principal with West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors for over 18 years, Matt completed numerous strategic plans and transactions for some of the most influential non-profits, associations, law firms, professional service companies and NGOs, including the American Councils for International Education, a 45-year-old NGO focused on academic exchange, professional training, distance learning, curriculum and test development.  Matt delivered technical assistance, research, and building evaluation to American Councils resulting in their renewal of 40,000 square feet in a LEED-EB building in the heart of Washington’s Central Business District.
