Transwestern Advises NSSRA’S Real Estate and Relocation Strategy

October 29, 2019

HIGHLAND PARK, ILL. – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) has purchased a 30,000-square-foot property at 1221 Lake Cook Road in Highland Park, Illinois. TCS Executive Managing Director Larry Serota and Executive Vice Presidents Cece Conway and John Marquardt provided tenant representation services for NSSRA.

NSSRA provides recreation programs and services to people with disabilities in 13 North Shore communities including Deerfield, Glencoe, Glenview, Highland Park, Kenilworth, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Northbrook, Riverwoods, Wilmette and Winnetka. This new space will allow NSSRA to expand and offer additional programming and services on-site, in addition to its off-site programming through partnerships with park districts.

“Transwestern was a great partner to work with to get us to this point,” said NSSRA Executive Director Craig Culp. “When completed, this project will only improve and increase the number of opportunities for those we serve.”

The facilities at 1221 Lake Cook Road previously belonged to the Lakeside Congregation for Reform Judaism, which is relocating after merging with Congregation Solel to form Makom Solel Lakeside.
