TRANSWESTERN ROLE

John Marquardt is an Executive Vice President with Transwestern's Tenant Advisory Services Group based in Chicago.  He is an active member of Transwestern's National Private Equity and Higher Education Practice Groups.  John specializes in developing comprehensive real estate plans and managing transactions for clients and portfolio companies in the private equity, education, financial services, business services and healthcare sectors.  His background in commercial real estate, marketing and corporate account management makes him an important team member in Chicago's Tenant Advisory Group.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to Transwestern, John was a senior broker at Cushman and Wakefield on a team that completed more than 300 transactions representing over 5,000,000 square feet of office and industrial properties. John specialized in tenant representation and corporate client services involving structuring and negotiating commercial leases, developing strategic real estate plans, and assisting with the acquisition, consolidation and disposition of owned or leased properties. Some of his clients include Delta Career Education, Education Corporation of America, Silver Oak Services Partners, and Gryphon Investors.
