Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Tom is a Senior Managing Director in Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic region, managing the day-to-day operations at the Tysons, Virginia, office. He is responsible for recruiting and business development for Northern Virginia and the growth of tenant advisory for the region.
 
Tom is a member of the Operating Committee charged with devising and implementing the Mid-Atlantic region’s strategic vision. The region consists of nearly 300 employees, six service lines and offices in Washington, D.C., Bethesda, Maryland, Columbia, Maryland and Tysons, Virginia.
 
In addition to his regional role, Tom is a member of Transwestern’s board of directors and is the National Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions Leader, where he serves as a valuable resource and provides support to advance Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions practice.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Tom, who joined Transwestern in 2015, is a 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and previously held leadership positions at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE and Grubb & Ellis. He most recently served as senior managing director and market leader for Cushman & Wakefield’s Northern Virginia region in Tysons, Virginia.
