Matthew serves as Research Director, providing leadership on all aspects of Transwestern’s Strategic Account Management program. He collaborates with national and local teams using differentiated, powerful analytics and research to identify compelling markets and drive new business opportunities.
Additionally, Matthew is the firm’s National Industrial Research Leader, partnering with the Industrial Services group to deliver timely macro- and market-level insights and prominent industry thought leadership.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Matt joined Transwestern in 2014, where he spent more than six years overseeing research for the New Jersey office and playing an integral role in national Research Services. Prior to that, Matt was Vice President of Research at Avison Young, where he created the annual research plan for the New Jersey office and delivered insight related to economic activity, forecasts, trends, and commercial real estate market conditions. He also developed and maintained relationships with clients, providing them with market intelligence. Matt’s career in the real estate industry spans more than 25 years, previously leading similar roles with Colliers International, GVA Williams, and Sitar Realty Company.
Matt is recognized as a leading provider of thought leadership and statistical analysis and has provided content to both local and national media.

EDUCATION
Matthew earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Saint Peter’s University, where he also earned membership in Pi Mu Epsilon, a national honorary mathematics society. Matthew also holds a New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson’s license.
