TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As National Life Science Research Director, Alex oversees the life science research efforts for Transwestern. Working with the research and life science teams, Alex maintains the national life science property database, publishes national market reports, drafts thought leadership pieces and creates business development deliverables.

Alex has worked in commercial real estate since 2012, joining Transwestern in January 2023. His journey started at Pacifica Commercial Realty as a broker’s assistant, running keys and organizing fliers, where he quickly discovered his passion for real estate research and marketing. In 2012, Pacifica Commercial Realty tapped Alex to manage its research and marketing efforts across multiple offices. In 2016, Alex moved to San Francisco to earn a master’s degree at the Dominican University of California. During that time, Alex dove into multifamily investing, starting an investment partnership targeting opportunistic deals. After completing his MBA, Alex joined Colliers International as the local research manager. While at Colliers, he became increasingly drawn to life sciences while covering the industry in his role. In 2020, Alex embarked on an entrepreneurial venture, building a database for airport development opportunities for emerging eVTOL technologies.
