TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Cameron is responsible for sourcing, securing, and transacting tenant representation and brokerage fee service business across several Transwestern Advisory service lines, most notably Healthcare, Industrial, and Retail services. He has 19 years of experience in commercial real estate including the last 13 years at Transwestern.  As he was born, raised, and began his career in Memphis, TN, Cameron often acts as a “first call” resource for Transwestern producers around the country when their clients need assistance in the Mid-South region of the country.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Cameron began his commercial real estate career in the Mid-South region working for Crye-Leike Commercial, headquartered in Memphis, TN. He was a company, regional, and national sales award winner at Crye-Leike, where he focused on site selection, development, and transactional business mainly within the healthcare, office, and retail services markets. Cameron also acted as the commercial portfolio manager for development client Speed Investment Companies, LLC who built notable Germantown, TN developments Corporate Gardens and McVay Station. Notable transactions during this time included Medicap Pharmacies (Cardinal Health), DaVita Dialysis, Volunteers of America, Rural/Metro Ambulance Service, Wenco Franchise Management, and Golden Gate Cathedral.
 
At Transwestern, Cameron has filled multiple roles across service lines as well as being a recognized sales leader. He began as the first solely tenant-focused advisor for the Healthcare team, representing sole practitioners, physician groups, laboratory/ life science collectives, behavioral health clinics, and ambulatory surgery center clients. Subsequently, Cameron went “in-house” at St. Luke’s Episcopal Healthcare (now CHI) as their corporate leasing portfolio manager across the Gulf States region. More recently, he has turned his focus on the service-related industries including site selection and brokerage business for healthcare retailers, restaurants, non-profits, and logistics businesses. Notable transactions include Surgeon’s Management Inc., Houston Metro Urology, MD Anderson, St. Luke’s Foundation, Gus’s World-Famous Fried Chicken, Pathmark Logistics, Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates, Belly Acres, and Redemption Church of Houston.
 
In his career, Cameron has completed over 2.5 million SF of leasing and brokerage business valued in excess of $175 million.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Cameron has been involved with several civic and religious organizations in mentoring and advisory roles. While in Memphis, he previously chaired the Bravo board for ArtsMemphis and had volunteer roles for the First Tee, St. Jude Classic, and Make-A-Wish golf tournaments. While in Houston, Cameron has coached every child sport imaginable, served as a Sunday school teacher at Houston’s First Baptist, as well as co-chairing the First Baptist Academy’s Planning Committee. He has also been an advisor and mentor to students at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
