TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As a Vice President of Project Services, Brian oversees all aspects of commercial construction and development projects. With over 25 years of experience as a project manager, Brian’s market experience includes healthcare, life sciences, corporate headquarters, industrial and Manufacturing, and institutional. He has completed more than $800 million worth and three million sf of commercial building projects in his career. Brian has extensive experience in construction management, general contracting, development, and project management. He has a proven track record of success in building teams tailored to each client and project, from the design and engineering teams to construction, testing, commissioning, furniture, equipment providers, and other owner vendors. He is adept at process streamlining from scheduling, RFP management and analysis, budgeting, team management, and reporting tailored to each project's specific need. His firm disposition and attention to detail make him an invaluable asset during the planning, pre-construction, and construction phases.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Some of Brian's accomplishments include: the completion of the University of Chicago Medicine's Center for Advanced Care in Orland Park, IL, a 108,000 sf ground-up development; Southeastern Spine Institute's 71,500-sf Surgery Center, Imaging, and Medical Office in Mt. Pleasant, SC; Astellas Institute for Regenerative Medicine's 261,500-sf GMP, R&D, CMC, Vivarium and office in Westborough, MA; Astellas Innovation Management's 12,000-sf R&D Cell Culture lab in Cambridge, MA; Universal Cells' 25,000-sf GMP and R&D in Seattle, WA; managed the 440,000-sf Astellas Pharma headquarters project in Northbrook, IL; completed the 110,000-sf headquarters for Wespath Benefits and Investments in Glenview, IL; managed a 468,500-sf manufacturing plant project in Elgin, IL for Canadian firm York Container. Brian has completed projects nationwide, including in Illinois, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Seattle, Kansas, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Bradley University (Peoria, Illinois).
