Iconic 11-Story Asset Strategically Positioned Near Washington, D.C.

April 21, 2021

WASHINGTON – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces it has been named the exclusive listing agent for Wisconsin Place, an 11-story, Class A office tower at 5404 Wisconsin Ave. in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Transwestern Executive Vice President Tom Hilley, Executive Co-Directors Keith Foery and Phillip McCarthy, Senior Vice President Erin Kurucza, Vice President Mark Boyce, and Senior Associate Karla Rivera will reintroduce the project to the market and provide leasing services for the 300,000 square-foot asset on behalf of Boston Properties.

“Wisconsin Place’s iconic status within the market combined with its modern, sophisticated design has made it a sought-after office environment for top companies like Microsoft and Pacific Western,” said Hilley. “Our team is thrilled to partner with Boston Properties to deliver value-driven leasing services that further raise the asset’s best-in-class profile and create opportunities for tenants.”

Located in the heart of Chevy Chase at the core of The Shops at Wisconsin Place, the property is part of a mixed-use complex featuring residential and retail space, a 20,500-square-foot community center, and public parks. Retail and dining options include Bloomingdale’s, Le Pain Quotidien, Cole Haan and Whole Foods. Commuters benefit from the onsite Friendship Heights Metro station, local Metrobus stop and nearby Interstate 495.

Wisconsin Place features a dramatic two-story lobby, secure underground parking, and efficient, flexible floor plates. Ownership is working on a capital improvement plan to further amenitize the building.

Residents are attracted to Chevy Chase’s prime location between Maryland and Washington, D.C., for its exceptional access to major hubs for innovation and business. Based on 2020 census data, 86% of Chevy Chase residents over the age of 25 have a bachelor’s degree, with most in biological, agricultural, and environmental sciences fields.
