Chicago Team Tapped to Lease 167,937 Square Feet at Evanston MetroCenter

November 14, 2019

CHICAGO) – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces it has been selected as exclusive leasing agent for Evanston MetroCenter, a 167,937-square-foot, Class A office property at 1007 Church St. in Evanston, Illinois. Executive Vice Presidents Eric Myers and Joe Stevens, Senior Associate John Nelson and Associate Niki Dallianis will lease the property on behalf of the building’s owner, FD Stonewater.

TCS has provided management services at Evanston MetroCenter since 2016 and was retained by the new ownership to continue in this capacity, led by Asset Services Senior Vice Presidents Micah Larmie, Bonnie Boden and Pete Miceli.

While continuing its focus on sustainability initiatives and energy reduction, staff support, project management, long-term property planning, budgeting and compliance, the integrated services team will implement Nexus, a new tenant engagement program that is an extension of the Transwestern Experience service platform. Nexus uses building analytics to create tenant DNA profiles, establishing a template for enhanced programming that drives engagement, builds community and strengthens culture within and around a property.

“Our team is excited to market a transit-oriented office building on the North Shore,” said Eric Myers. “The Evanston MetroCenter allows for cross-marketing between both downtown and suburban brokers, and we are looking forward to bringing a nearby tenant from outside Evanston into a market that has easy access to downtown talent.”

The Evanston MetroCenter is home to a variety of tenants including Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management administrative offices. The building was designed by Helmut Jahn, the German American, Chicago-based architect known for designing the Sony Center in Berlin and One Liberty Place in Philadelphia, among others.
