MINNEAPOLIS – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces that Meyer Borgman Johnson has signed a new, long-term lease to occupy the 20th floor at RSM Plaza, 801 Nicollet Mall. The multi-specialty structural design practice plans to move its corporate headquarters into the 12,277-square-foot office on June 1, 2025. RSM Plaza owner Golub & Company is represented by Transwestern Vice President Trinette Wacker and Principal Broker Reed Christianson.
“Meyer Borgman Johnson had a strong vision of their future office space, and RSM Plaza offers unique floorplates that fit the firm’s forward-thinking plans,” said Wacker. “The full-floor office at the very top of the property offers stunning views, courtesy of the floor-to-ceiling windows and the superb location in the heart of the Minneapolis Central Business District.”
Meyer Borgman Johnson, a structural engineering practice with seven offices across the U.S., is relocating from 510 Marquette Ave. S. to the 20th floor of RSM Plaza’s West Tower, which is equipped with 18-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows. The 416,000-square-foot RSM Plaza completed a $10 million renovation in 2018 that revitalized the property’s lobby and introduced new amenities, including The Perch Lounge, The Pocket Park, and conferencing and collaborative meeting spaces. The property is home to 801 Chophouse, an upscale dining experience, and 8th Street Grill & Taphouse, which offers casual meals and draft microbrews. Tenants also benefit from abundant bike storage and on-site parking.
Meyer Borgman Johnson, with offices in Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Duluth, MN; Green Bay, WI; Phoenix, AZ; Rochester, MN; and San Francisco, CA, is proud to serve local communities across the United States and parts of Canada.
Kathleen John, Managing Director and Principal of Meyer Borgman Johnson, shares, “Our new office reflects our commitment to innovation and excellence. With abundant natural light and an open floor plan featuring a variety of inviting workspaces, the space supports our flexible, collaborative work style. It's designed to inspire our employees, fueling creativity and connection as we partner with our clients and design and construction professionals to structure places that shape lives.”
