Packaging Company Will Occupy Full Floor, 20,192 Square Feet of Space

October 28, 2024

MINNEAPOLIS – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces that Gamer Packaging has signed a new, long-term lease at Fifth Street Towers. The full-service packaging company is moving its headquarters to occupy 20,192 square feet on the 19th floor of 100 S. Fifth St., the companion tower to 150 S. Fifth St. The 1 million-square-foot office complex is represented by Transwestern Principal Broker Reed Christianson and Vice President Trinette Wacker.

“Among the many office options in the downtown area, it’s meaningful to have a Minneapolis company choose Fifth Street Towers as its headquarters,” said Christianson. “Fifth Street Towers, due to thoughtful planning and hard work on the part of many, has class-leading amenities and a robust tenant engagement program that enhances the workplace experience. In the current flight-to-quality climate of the office market, we are thankful that companies are choosing the elevated tenant experience offered at our complex.”

Gamer Packaging is currently designing its new headquarters and plans to move into its space during the second half of 2026.

"We are thrilled to provide our employees with a work environment that reflects our commitment to their well-being and success,” said Paula Gamer, CEO of Gamer Packaging. “Our team members are our most valuable assets, and we believe that investing in a space that fosters creativity and collaboration will empower them to achieve great things. Additionally, by moving to Fifth Street Towers, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting a vibrant downtown Minneapolis, which is essential for the growth and prosperity of the entire state of Minnesota. This move is not just about relocation; it's about best serving our employees and contributing to the thriving community we are proud to be a part of.”

Building ownership has invested heavily in its upgrades in recent years to attract tenants like Gamer Packaging. Amenities include Sculpt Fitness, a fully stocked gym free to tenant employees; a hotel-quality conference center; Connect Lounge, featuring bar and lounge seating; and Sphere Bar + Restaurant, which is in the skyway bridge connecting the two buildings. Tenants at Fifth Street Tower also experience a variety of events throughout the year focusing on outreach, entertainment, education and wellness, providing a community-based environment. The LEED Gold certified complex is also located near a METRO light rail train stop, connected to buses from the Marq2 transit corridor, and offers underground parking.

Gamer Packaging was represented by brokers Tad Jellison, John Lorence, and Blake Hastings of CBRE.
