Houston – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces it has expanded its Houston Industrial Group with the addition of Craig Bean. In his role as Managing Director, Bean is responsible for industrial project leasing, tenant representation, and the identification of acquisition, disposition, and sourcing investment and development opportunities for institutional clients throughout the Greater Houston market.

Bean was previously at Holt Lunsford Commercial (HLC) where he led the Houston Industrial Division as Managing Principal. During his five-year tenure, he oversaw the growth of HLC’s third-party industrial leasing portfolio to more than nine million square feet, exceeding double the volume in just over two and a half years.
Prior to joining the commercial real estate industry, Bean served as a policy advisor for Texas Governor Greg Abbott and United States Representative for the 21st district Lamar Smith. He earned a bachelor’s degree in government with a minor in business from The University of Texas at Austin. He was also a member of the Texas Cowboys service organization.
