CHICAGO – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces it has represented building ownership on a new lease at 203 N. LaSalle, a 27-story, 624,724-square-foot office building in Chicago’s Central Loop submarket. The new tenant, Mintel, signed the 30,000-square-foot lease in December 2022 and has now moved into its new space. The building owner, Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, was represented by Transwestern Senior Vice President Kathleen Bertrand, Executive Vice President Eric Myers and Senior Associate John Nelson. The building is leased and managed by Transwestern.
Mintel, a global market intelligence agency, leaves behind a 26,000-square-foot office at 333 W. Wacker Drive in the West Loop upon its move to 203 N. LaSalle. The Chicago office is the international organization’s only address in North America.
“We are thrilled to be in our new space at 203 N. LaSalle,” said Ben Dietz, President and General Manager, Mintel Americas. “The building has a lot to offer. The space brings great energy and facilitates both quiet and collaborative work, which is essential to how our teams support our clients. The new office is a perfect way to commit, once again, to the city of Chicago.”
203 N. LaSalle is a LEED Platinum tower with access to considerable options for transportation. It offers a 1,200-space parking garage as well as a direct connection to the CTA Clark/Lake Station and the Pedway system. The building features newly constructed, world-class amenities, including a state-of-the-art conference center, complimentary fitness center, and multiple tenant lounges with unique touches like a working fireplace. The building also possesses a 12-story interior atrium that allows for an abundance of natural light. There is currently a 92,000-square-foot, big-block space available in the building.
“We’re excited to welcome Mintel to 203 N. LaSalle,” said Bertrand. "The building is debt-free and in a great location with a full amenity package. We’re confident that Mintel’s people-first culture and our dedication to the tenant experience will make for a perfect fit."
Michelle Wiedman of Wiedman Real Estate represented Mintel in the transaction.
