Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Katie is the Regional Creative Director for Transwestern’s Midwest Region, which encompasses offices across Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.  She leads and mentors a creative team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Katie aligns creative strategies with business development goals and helps shape the region’s marketing strategy and budget. She oversees a wide range of marketing collateral—including property branding, proposals, presentations, digital campaigns, websites, video, social media, signage, and environmental graphics—while serving as the region’s brand steward, ensuring consistency and quality.  She also plays an active role in deploying national campaigns at the regional level, tailoring materials to local market dynamics while maintaining brand authenticity. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

With more than a decade of marketing and design experience in commercial real estate, Katie has established herself as a trusted creative leader. She joined Transwestern in 2018 as a Senior Graphic Designer before being promoted to Regional Creative Director. Prior to Transwestern, she served as a Senior Graphic Designer at Cushman & Wakefield, where she spearheaded property rebrands, large-scale signage, advertising campaigns, and video production, while also collaborating on research-driven reports and infographics.

Earlier in her career, Katie worked at a signage firm designing large-scale wayfinding and monument systems and freelanced with various companies and design firms, gaining diverse experience across branding, print, and digital projects.

EDUCATION

Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a dual concentration in graphic design and multimedia design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
