TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Collin Burwinkel is a Public Relations and Marketing Specialist for Transwestern’s North Texas operations, based in Dallas. He supports marketing, media relations efforts, social media management, internal communications and brand management for the firm.
 
Collin supports commercial leasing and property marketing efforts for office, retail, industrial and healthcare accounts within the Transwestern portfolio, as well as the development and execution of marketing initiatives for new business pursuits. Additionally, he helps lead diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) planning and program implementation throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
 
He was awarded Transwestern’s national Rising Star award in 2020 for his thought leadership partnership with the Transwestern research team.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Collin worked for Ketchum, a top global public relations consultancy. During his time with the agency, he serviced accounts within a wide array of industries including retail, fitness, oil and gas, healthcare and food and beverage. Collin has worked with many of the world’s top brands, including ExxonMobil, Target, MillerCoors, Orangetheory Fitness, Hyundai, Alcon, Ben. E Keith and the Country Music Association.
 
His work specializes in marketing, corporate communications, brand positioning, corporation reputation and targeted media relations in order to effectively support business development and brand enhancement for the organizations he is a part of. Collin has received media placements in Bloomberg, Fox News, ESPN.com, The Miami Herald, The Houston Chronicle and The Dallas Morning News among others
 
Prior to joining Ketchum, Collin held fellowships and internships with the University of Alabama Department of Athletics, the Houston Zoo and Houston Methodist Hospital where he supported marketing and strategic communication objectives.

EDUCATION

Collin is certified in Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (CERC) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation as an ADDY award recipient and serves as a career ambassador for the Collegiate Career Assistance Program (CCAP) at the Alabama Center for Real Estate. A Houston native and avid golfer, he graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama.
