Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Drew Van Norman is a Senior Vice President in Transwestern’s Debt and Equity Placement group, where he is responsible for raising capital on behalf of buyers, developers and owners of commercial real estate across the United States. Drew works closely with a broad range of capital sources including banks, life insurance companies, debt funds, CMBS lenders, private equity firms and GSEs to provide optimal financing solutions for institutional and private clients.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Over the course of his career, Drew has been involved in the closing of more than $2 billion in financing volume. He has successfully closed transactions across numerous asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, mixed-use, manufactured housing, condominiums, and aircraft maintenance facilities, among others. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2026, Drew spent six years on the Capital Markets team at Walker & Dunlop, where he served as an Associate Director.
