As managing director, Barrett Bufkin partners with John Bollman and Austin Fahy as part of a national real estate advisory team serving major industrial occupiers across the United States. He specializes in site selection and total-cost-of-operations analysis, advising clients on how labor, transportation, taxes and real estate decisions intersect to impact long-term performance.

Barrett’s work centers on aligning real estate strategy with operational efficiency, applying data-driven analysis to help clients optimize location decisions, reduce costs and support scalable growth.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Barrett held brokerage roles at Cresa and ESRP, where he advised industrial users on site selection and portfolio strategy. His experience spans labor analytics, incentive evaluation and transportation modeling, with a focus on integrating real estate decisions into broader supply chain and operational planning.
