TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Sanders Thompson specializes in assisting corporate and legal clients in their search for office space, focusing on the Uptown and Downtown sectors of Dallas. One of his strengths is aiding his clients in developing short term and long term strategic real estate plans. ’I help my clients make informed real estate decisions. This role requires the market insight and perspective that only specialization can provide. I believe that ’Information + Interpretation = Ideas for the success of my clients.’

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Sanders was a founding partner of NAI Stoneleigh. His career in real estate began in 1972 at Las Colinas Corporation. While there, he was involved in land planning/development, multi-family and commercial construction, and office leasing on behalf of the landlord. Since 1983, he has specialized in representing tenants in over $1.6 billion in office leases and building sales. Sanders has completed over 3.2 million square feet of law firm transactions in his career and is the founding partner of the Transwestern Law Practice Group.
 
Legal clients include Gray Reed & McGraw, Haynes and Boone, DLA Piper, Deans & Lyons, Andrews Kurth and Strasburger & Price.
 
Corporate clients include Lockton, Employers General Insurance, Mueller Water Products, Voyager Expanded Learning and Netherland Sewell & Associates.

Sanders received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Austin College and his master’s degree in finance and real estate from Southern Methodist University.
