TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Robert is currently responsible for sourcing new retail development opportunities for the company and supervises all functions of site management and leasing program, Robert also performs architectural design and space planning production internally.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Robert has more than 19 years of experience in architecture design and consulting and over 29 years of retail management experience in the Houston area handling such accounts as Sharpstown Mall, Marq-E Entertainment Center, Town & Country Mall and Pasadena Mall. His previous experience includes seven years with General Growth Properties in various malls throughout Texas.  Robert has been involved in several major construction projects such as the 8-story parking garage at the Marq-E Entertainment Center, the renovation of Fame City and the remodeling of Jungle Jim's at Memorial City Mall and the construction of a build-to-suit at Memorial City Medical Center.

In addition, Robert has worked with the city of Houston as a community service inspector and is very familiar with city, state and national building codes.  He also served for four years on the operations council for General Growth Management, Inc.


PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Robert is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

EDUCATION

Robert is a licensed Texas real estate salesman and holds a City of Houston maintenance electrician license. He is a state certified code enforcement officer and is EPA certified. In addition, Robert has completed an Associate's degree in Architectural Design and Construction Engineer Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
