John Beckworth

John serves as a Development Associate for Transwestern Development Company. He is based in Austin. John is responsible for sourcing new development opportunities, site selection, feasibility, financial and market analysis, and project management.

John brings with him to Transwestern a range of experience including a background in lending, investment analysis, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Transwestern, John worked as an MBA intern for Hines in their New York City office. Before graduate school, John was an Assistant Vice President in Frost Bank’s Austin Commercial Real Estate Lending group. At Frost, John was responsible for underwriting and closing over $200 million in new loans.

John earned a BA from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
