TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Michael Snodgrass serves as executive managing director of the Structured Finance Group and is responsible for real-estate investment banking and mortgage banking services. Michael is responsible for arranging debt financing and equity investments for Transwestern’s institutional and corporate clients nationally. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Michael has over 25 years of experience in real estate finance including origination of debt, underwriting of real estate portfolios, due diligence, and structuring of complex debt and equity transactions. Prior to joining Transwestern, Michael was a principal and director of the real-estate financing and equity investment division at Sparks Financial Group, Inc. He has been responsible for more than $3 billion in debt, equity investments and investment sales transactions. Notable debt and equity transactions include the redevelopment of The Magnolia Hotel, a $55MM certified historic building located in Downtown Houston, into a hospitality property and an $85MM new construction development of 2727 Kirby,  a River Oaks high-rise residential condominium, the Austonian, a 56-story high-rise residential tower located in downtown Austin, Texas, the 30-story, Astoria residential tower on Post Oak Blvd., Houston, Texas, and the Arabella, a 33 story, luxury high rise condominium development located in the Galleria area.
