Larry Serota currently serves as executive managing director at Transwestern and specializes in tenant representation. He represents users of space throughout the United States and abroad and advises clients on real estate strategies that align with overall organizational goals and financial objectives. Larry has successfully integrated his personal commitment to sustainability within his business practice, becoming a LEED accredited professional.
Larry is a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors and serves in a leadership role for Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory Steering Committee as well as Transwestern’s Midwest Region for all service lines. Larry recently served as Chair of Transwestern’s Emerging Leaders Council representing the millennials of the firm. Additionally, Larry serves as liaison for Transwestern’s international partners in BNP Paribas Real Estate and Devencore.

In 2017, Larry was named by Crain’s Chicago Business on their inaugural list as one of the most influential real estate brokers in Chicago. In 2015, Larry was honored by Real Estate Forum as one of the “Top 50 under 40” of all commercial real estate professionals in the United States. Consistently a top producer, he has been a member of the Champion’s Club at Transwestern for being among the top 25 producers in the country.
