John V. Lopez, CCIM, RPA, is Managing Director for Healthcare Advisory Services (HAS) bringing 34 years of commercial and healthcare advisory experience to this position. John and the SE HAS team are responsible for the oversight and execution of 2.6 MM Square Feet of institutional grade medical real estate investments and leasing objectives for clients throughout the Southeast. In addition, John is singularly focused on Healthcare and works closely with the Healthcare Advisory team in continuing to improve and grow our client services.


Prior to joining Transwestern, John was with HealthCare REIT, now known as Welltower, where he served as Regional Director of Healthcare Leasing for the East and Midwest regions handling approximately 1,300,000 rentable square feet. Previous Healthcare Real Estate experience includes work with Lauth Property Group as Regional Director of Leasing handling the Leasing and Pre-Leasing of a portfolio of Medical Office Buildings totaling 675,000 rentable square feet throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, and with Rendina Healthcare/Paramount Properties as the Regional Leasing Director handling a portfolio of company owned stabilized Medical/Professional Office Buildings.
Additionally, John founded Commercial Audit Group which served major Retailers in the pursuit of Cost Recovery surrounding their leasehold interests.  In this capacity, he consulted with major retailers such as Sports Authority, Circuit City and PetSmart.


John is licensed in the State of Florida, Georgia and Alabama. He also holds his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) designations.


John earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Marketing from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
