John is an Executive Vice President with Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions group in Chicago. He co-leads a team who uses combined skillsets to provide a consultative, holistic approach when representing tenants. John’s ability to negotiate the best solutions and most advantageous terms for his clients stems from his early years as a landlord broker. This has given him a unique understanding of a transaction's intricacies and a distinct advantage in creating leverage. His team is unabashedly contrarian and drives a client-first approach.

John has focused on providing strategic real estate planning and site selection to law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, data centers, corporations, consulates, hospitals and non-profits throughout Chicago and the United States. John has completed over 345 transactions throughout his career, totaling over 8.8 million square feet. Prior to joining Transwestern, he was a Principal at Avison Young. Before that, he held roles at Grubb & Ellis, Trammel Crow Company and Savills, serving on its tenant representation team.
John and his team specialize in representing tenants with requirements between 10,000 and 100,000 square feet.
