Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

John is a 33 year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. He joined Equity Commercial Services in 1998 as a Partner focusing on the marketing of third-party management contracts and tenant representation. Since the joint venture with Transwestern in 2009, John has continued to be a dominant force in the Northeast, East and Southeast Industrial markets. John has played a major role in the continued success of the St. Paul Industrial Property portfolio consisting of 38 buildings comprised of approximately 2,000,000 sq. ft. and has been a part of this business for 30 years.  

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Throughout his career, John has experienced the corporate real estate industry from a variety of perspectives, strengthening his ability to effectively accommodate a variety of client needs. Prior to joining Equity Commercial Services, John was Vice President of Robert Muir and Associates Development Group, the Director of Marketing for Rosewood Corporation and a Marketing Representative for Exxon Corporation.  Previous to committing to the industrial side of the commercial real estate business John worked in the downtown Minneapolis and suburban office markets.

EDUCATION

He received his B.A. in Business Administration from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
