TRANSWESTERN ROLE

John serves as Vice President and is responsible for sourcing new development opportunities, site selection, feasibility, project management, financial and market analysis, research, and asset dispositions. John has been primarily focused on development activities for urban, in-fill, mixed use projects in the Central Texas region.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Recent project contributions include: The Indie - a 135 unit, 73,000-sq ft micro-unit apartment project located in East Austin; The Candela - a 120 unit, 114,000-sq ft luxury apartment project located in East Austin; West 12th Street - a 160 unit, 83,000-sq ft micro unit development located in downtown Austin; 3 Waller - a 259 unit, 130,000-sq ft micro unit development located in downtown Austin; Windsor Village - a mixed-use redevelopment located in Central East Austin featuring 405 multifamily units, approximately 14,000 SF of retail and approximately 15,000 SF of creative office space.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern in 2018, John spent 3 years on GEs Corporate Finance Team where he focused on financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting in the Energy Management, Digital Energy, and Intelligent Platforms businesses.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
