Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Jimmy is an Assistant Vice President of Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Tenant Advisory + Workplace Strategy Solutions Group. Based out of the Washington office, he focuses on providing expert guidance and consultative services to occupiers in the CBD and worldwide. With a track record of success on the frontlines of business development and execution within the industry, Jimmy provides a high level of service partnering with senior leadership. His team’s mission is to guide occupiers through a seamless strategic process to help them achieve their ideal space requirements with the most cost-effective outcomes.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Jimmy worked in the acquisition division at Amherst Holdings. The investment management firm was one of the largest owners and operators of single-family rentals throughout the country, with approximately 15 billion in assets under management during his tenure. His team deployed the bulk fund, a platform focused on purchasing large portfolios of single-family rentals in one transaction. During their time together at Amherst, his team successfully acquired 200 million of single-family rental assets.
 
Previously, Jimmy worked in the Tenant Advisory division at JLL in the midtown Manhattan office, where he fulfilled a variety of space requirements across multiple asset classes both domestically and internationally. His clients included law firms, technology companies, non-profits, media companies and life science occupiers.
 
His career in real estate began at one of Washington’s most prominent boutique tenant advisory firms, MGA. During his time there, Jimmy developed a passion for business development and client service, working with the firm’s senior team. His team advised and represented some of the area’s most prestigious non-profits, trade associations and government contractors. In January of 2023, MGA joined forces with Transwestern.

Jimmy holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
