Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Coy serves as Senior Vice President of Construction where he is responsible for the construction of commercial office, multi-family, and healthcare development projects. He provides full-service construction management services for build-to-suit clients and oversees the design and construction of our principal development projects.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Prior to joining Transwestern, Coy was Director of Multifamily Development with The Howard Hughes Corporation responsible for new business generation, managing and improving internal processes, and overseeing multiple project teams from Hawaii to Columbia, Maryland. His work included:
- The Westin The Woodlands, TX - New 302 key, 245,000 square foot cast in place concrete Westin hotel with a precast and curtain wall faade.
- One Lakes Edge The Woodlands, TX - A 392-unit, 825,000 square foot cast in place concrete "wrap" luxury apartment project with masonry andmetal panel faade.
- The Metropolitan Columbia, MD - 380-unit wood framed apartment wrapped around a precast garage. Prior to Howard Hughes, Coy was a Senior Project Manager with JE Dunn Construction Company for 8 years.
Coy has over 30 years of construction experience specializing in multifamily, hospitality and higher education projects. Coy has also worked on industrial projects that total over 2 million square feet.
