Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Charles serves as Senior Vice President in the firm’s Atlanta office, where he is responsible for managing all aspects of design and construction for industrial developments. He provides full-service construction management services for build-to-suit clients and oversees the design and construction for speculative development projects.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Since joining Transwestern in 2018, Charles has successfully delivered the completion of University Park at Bridgewater (713K SF) in Lakeland, Florida, Penn Commerce Center I (891K SF) in Newville, Pennsylvania, and Battle Creek Logistics Center (352K SF) in Jonesboro, Georgia. Currently, Charles is managing the construction of 1.4 million square feet across three (3) developments in the Southeast and Northeast regions. 
 
Prior to joining the Company, Charles served as President of NPSG Construction. His primary focus was on e-commerce tenant improvement projects across the country including several projects for Amazon. Prior to that, Charles spent 12 years with Seefried Properties, an industrial development firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. During that time, he held the positions of Vice President of Construction and later Vice President of Development where he managed the execution of more than 15 million square feet of development valued in excess of $1 billion. Clients included Amazon, The Home Depot, PetsMart, U-Line, L3 and Verizon Wireless. Charles started his career in construction as a Project Engineer and was later promoted to Project Manager and was responsible for a wide variety of construction projects with a primary focus on retail, office and industrial projects.

EDUCATION

Charles received both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the College of Architecture, School of Building Construction at the University of Florida.
