Becky Burns

Becky currently manages the four-building office portfolio known as the Chasewood Technology Park comprised of approximately 464,000 square feet in the Beltway & Hwy 249 submarket in Houston.

 

She also serves as one of the Wellness Ambassadors for Transwestern’s Southwest Region where she has assisted in implementing a regional wellness challenge known as TransForm. As Wellness Ambassador, Becky has been able to offer monthly lunch & learns and various other events to help promote a healthier life style for fellow co-workers in an effort to help reduce overall health insurance costs as a company.

Becky has served in Property Management since August 2007, when she joined Transwestern. The clients she has served include Clarion, Sarofim, HDG Mansur, LNR and GenCap.  Becky has managed office, medical and retail projects including a Class A (99,000 sf) office and retail project in The Woodlands known as 21 Waterway, 9720 Cypresswood and Perry’s Steakhouse (82,281 sf) and a 50,000 sf retail project in College Station.

 

Becky is proficient in all aspects of property management, including budgets, reporting, capital planning and execution, as well as tenant relations.  Prior to joining Transwestern, Becky worked for Texas House Representative Rick Hardcastle in Austin, Texas where she participated with him on the Border & International Affairs Committee and the Energy Resources Committee.  She also participated in Congressional Internships in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Kevin Brady (TX-08) and Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (MI-11).

Becky is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she majored in Agricultural Journalism. She is a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesperson and a Certified Property Manager (CPM).
