René joined Transwestern in 1997. She currently oversees 3.2 million square feet of office, retail, industrial/flex and personally manages an additional 381,000 square feet. Her responsibilities include supervision of multiple employees and their staff, oversight and review of monthly reports, budgets and escalations to ensure client expectations are met. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, customer service, supervision of all construction projects and contracting vendors.


René has more than 23 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. She has managed more than three million square feet for institutional owners, including but not limited to, Cornerstone, Franklin Street Partners, Sun Life of Canada, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, Transwestern Investment Company, Broadreach Capital Partners, Equity Investment Partners, Henderson Global, Colorado State Land Board, KBS Realty Advisors, and Northwestern Mutual Life. She has also worked with Opus Northwest on the development and management of the Centennial Promenade Shopping Center.
Prior to joining Transwestern, René worked at Mile High Property Services, where she was responsible for over two million square feet of office, industrial and retail space.


René is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). She was the Mountain Region Management Employee of the Year in 2002; received the Rocky Mountain Building Team of the Year Award in 2003 and again in 2006; and received the Client Relations Award in 2007 and 2008.


René is a LEED® Accredited Professional and has received her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through BOMA.
