Peter is a member of a Transwestern team that assists clients in every stage of the real estate process including: Real estate leasing or disposing of facility leases; providing strategic, long-term planning via portfolio analysis, site selection and employee location consulting. We excel in assisting early, mid and late stage funded start-ups in managing growth in terms of cost analysis with the goal of increasing their bottom line.
Additionally, Peter is the Bay Area head of Transwestern's BioTech Advisory Group, leading the company's efforts in life science and biotech office and laboratory disposition, having years of professional lab experience with the USDA and public/private cancer research departments before working in brokerage. He is also a LEED® Accredited Professional, and member of the United States Green Building Council, helping to merge green building and leasing practices into commercial real estate.
Peter is in his 13th year of San Francisco real estate. Before transitioning to brokerage, Peter spent the first four of his real estate career at Wells Fargo with the Builder Division where he gained insight into the financial complexities of commercial real estate and development. Peter’s in-depth financial background enables him to provide expert financial strategies and advanced solutions for complex and dynamic companies. His breadth of San Francisco real estate market knowledge is the foundation of his holistic, hands-on approach to assisting local individual, investor, and family trust clients. Some of Peter’s direct developer partners have included Catellus Development, Santa Fe Partners, Lennar, and Emerald Fund in their projects all over the Bay Area.
The Moeller Team brings over 30 years of collective experience assisting clients in every stage of the real estate process including leasing or disposing of office leases; strategic portfolio analysis and long-term planning; site selection and employee location consulting; and providing cost analysis and advisory services to manage growth and increase the bottom for early, mid and late stage funded start-ups.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Peter served as an Associate Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield from 2012 to 2015 and as a Commercial Real Estate Broker at Grubb and Ellis from 2008 to 2012. Peter worked in Wells Fargo’s Builder Division from 2004 to 2008. Prior to starting his commercial real estate career, Peter worked as a post-graduate Research Associate for the cancer research laboratory of Lexrite Laboratories, a privately run biotech connected to UC Davis whose research focus was the “Infinite Affinity Antibodies” project.
