HOUSTON – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces Kevin Gummerus has joined the firm as Vice President of National Engineering Services. In this pivotal leadership role, Gummerus applies nearly two decades of strategic operational experience to drive a consistent, elevated level of Asset Services solutions. Embracing new and emerging technology as well as industry best practices, he will guide engineering teams across markets and property types to optimize building performance and enhance asset value.

Before joining Transwestern, Gummerus spent close to 18 years at Hines, overseeing engineering services for properties across geographies and asset types. As Global Sr. Corporate Engineering Manager, he led engineering operations for more than 685 properties across 30 countries and 335 cities, encompassing over 2,000 facility and engineering team members. His extensive experience includes implementing risk management strategies, establishing large and complex OPEX and CAPEX budgets, and meeting energy and environmental objectives.
