TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Andy Clagg is the Executive Managing Director of Asset Services for the managed properties across the Transwestern Real Estate Services portfolio. Andy oversees all operational facets of the company’s national property management efforts, including Client Accounting, Engineering, and Lease Administration, and he provides seamless oversight and client support for TRS assets. Andy helps property management teams pioneer new methods and technologies that can be adapted across all markets. In 2023, Andy was selected to sit on the TRS Board of Directors, as well as the company’s Executive Committee.
 
Andy’s leadership experience in scalable solutions excellently serves clients and internal partners. In turn, Andy is able to help drive consistency in deliverables to ensure the company meets and exceeds client goals. Andy has delivered exceptional results to clients, and he leads with integrity and professionalism. He also drives TRS best practices across functions and geographies in a disciplined manner. Andy stays engaged with TRS Asset Services employees, and he excels at increasing employee engagement through proactive communication—from town halls to the creation of and engagement in committees.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Andy has over 15 years of financial leadership experience. He first joined TRS in 2022 as Executive Vice President, Client Accounting. In that role, Andy focused his efforts on driving consistency and scalability amongst teams, which delivered exceptional results. Throughout his entire career, Andy has led large, multi-location Client Accounting teams of significant size and provided services to large institutions. He formally managed a team of more than 600 individuals in North America, including Financial Compliance and Shared Services teams.
 
Prior to TW, Andy worked at Cushman and Wakefield for nine years. Andy significantly enhanced a workforce management tool to improve processes and increase visibility, leading to increased workforce utilization and financial performance. As the Chief Client Accounting Officer, Asset Services, Andy developed and implemented growth strategies, which included the successful restructuring of teams, which increased efficiency and results for client projects. He also established a metrics-driven approach on department spending and resource gathering using KPIs, which ensured meeting or exceeding targeted margins. Andy has proven himself to be an energetic, goal driven, mentorship-oriented executive, delivering creative and effective results on time and within budget.
