ATLANTA – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces Tad Wood, CCIM, has joined the firm as Director of Healthcare Advisory Services in Nashville. Reporting to Transwestern Senior Managing Director Steve Hall, Wood will expand the firm’s robust healthcare advisory services footprint and capabilities in the Nashville region, guiding innovative, value-creating real estate outcomes for medical office building owners and healthcare professional tenants.
“Tad brings 20 years of dedicated knowledge and relationships in the Nashville market to Transwestern,” said Hall. “His extensive background working for medical REITs and proven expertise heading market expansions will help us continue delivering industry-leading results for our clients and enhance and grow Transwestern’s healthcare advisory services platform.”
Prior to joining Transwestern, Wood led market expansions into Nashville for Flagship Healthcare Properties, a Charlotte-based medical real estate firm, and Mohr Partners, a Dallas-based global real estate advisory and outsourcing firm. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Nashville market leader for TenantBase, overseeing recruitment, training, and operational management.
Wood earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and an MBA from Belmont University’s Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business. He is among several recent key hires on Transwestern’s healthcare advisory services team, including Steve Leathers, who joined the firm as national leader of healthcare capital markets.
