Houston – Great Place to Work® has honored Transwestern as one of the 2021 Great Place to Work’s Best Workplaces in Texas™. This is Transwestern’s fourth time being named to this prestigious list.

The Best Workplaces in Texas award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 73,000 current employees across Texas. In that survey, 92% of Transwestern’s employees said Transwestern is a great place to work. This number is 33 points higher than the average U.S. company.

“In a year filled with unprecedented challenges, we have never been prouder of the extraordinary commitment our team members have delivered to our clients and to each other,” said Larry P. Heard, CEO of the Transwestern companies. “Our team’s remarkable list of shared accomplishments speaks to their passion for service and performance, and we are both humbled and grateful for this recognition.”

Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization.

Transwestern offers its team members a full healthcare and benefits package; vacation time plus two personal days off and eight hours of paid time off for community service; paid parental leave; wellness and philanthropy initiatives; formal training and mentorship; and reimbursement for skills development, certifications and memberships. Additionally, the company reinforces personal and corporate social responsibility through integrated, national efforts in the areas of energy and sustainability; philanthropy; and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.

“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Texas™,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, VP of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “These companies stand out because they are built on foundations of trust. Their leaders can expect excellent business results because their great employee experience is one of the best in the state. And not just for the C-suite, but for every demographic and every level of the organization.”

In 2020, Transwestern also was named to the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials™ list.
