MINNEAPOLIS – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces the addition of Vice President Chris Weirens to the Industrial Services team for the Minneapolis-St. Paul market. With 22 years of commercial real estate experience, Chris will focus on clients selling or searching for warehouse properties, manufacturing space, and other industrial assets.
“We’re very pleased that a real estate veteran of Chris’s caliber has joined the industrial team,” said Minneapolis City Leader Emily Nicoll. “His experience and strong work ethic will provide further exceptional service to our clients. He’s an asset to our already incredible team.”
Weirens joins Transwestern from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the Senior Director of MSP Industrial Advisors. In this role, he supported his clients with strategic planning, leasing, buying, and selling, with a focus on industrial properties and companies. He has represented prominent clients such as United Properties, Sheet Metal Connectors, Interstate Development, and Estée Lauder.
“I’m excited to hit the ground running with this well-respected industrial team,” said Weirens. “I know that I will be able to provide an elevated level of service to my clients with the resources that Transwestern has to offer.”
Weirens is involved with several real estate professional groups, including the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), where he serves on the MNCAR Industrial Advisory board. He is also a member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Chris is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Chris is joining the Industrial Services team of Alex Baron, Nate Erickson, Ben Youds and Max Stewart.
