HOUSTON – Transwestern announces Sue Oldham has joined the firm as Director of Talent Transitions. Collaborating with the Chief Human Resources Officer and business leaders, Oldham will align recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding efforts with Transwestern’s culture and values to grow the firm’s high-performing talent and enhance every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle.
“Sue brings over 20 years of experience in consulting, nonprofit board service, and higher education to lead the strategic direction and execution of talent recruitment, engagement and retention across the organization,” said Transwestern Chief Human Resources Officer Allison Allen. “Her wealth of expertise in building and motivating teams will create synergies between talent strategies and business objectives, while enabling us to set meaningful performance goals and meet quality metrics.”
A subject matter expert in full-cycle recruitment, Oldham joins Transwestern from Vanderbilt University, where she oversaw strategic planning for the end-to-end student experience as Associate Dean of MBA Program Operations. Previously, she was Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Major Gifts and Executive Director of Recruiting and Admissions at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rice University and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt.

Oldham’s extensive community involvement and nonprofit leadership includes roles as past president and board member of Rice University’s Alumni Association; past chair, vice chairman and board member of Camp Cho-Yeh and Conference Center; former Vice Chair of Avondale House; and past board member of the Houston Arboretum. She has served as a member of the Rice University Alumni Interviewing Staff for Admissions for over 20 years.
