SAN ANTONIO – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces the expansion of its brokerage team with the addition of Yesenia Smith, a 12-year veteran of the firm. Providing landlord and tenant representation services with a focus on office and medical office assets, Smith will work under the guidance of San Antonio City Leader Leah Gallagher.

Smith will utilize her extensive understanding of market conditions and strategic marketing skills to assist clients with exceptional service and unique real estate solutions. Joining Transwestern in 2012, she served as Vice President, leading marketing, advertising, public relations, research, and data analytics in San Antonio for 10 years. Later, as National Director of Learning & Development, she spearheaded Transwestern's learning and development strategies, collaborating with all service lines and support functions across the country.

The recipient of numerous industry accolades, Smith is deeply involved in Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), serving on the International Network Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2022-2023, on the Member Education Committee in 2021 and as San Antonio President in 2020. Among her time dedicated to CREW, she has also been a trusted market analyst and presenter for CCIM, Financial Women in Texas, IREM, NAWBO, RECSA, SMPS and YCRAN.
Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in marketing from St. Mary’s University. She is also a proud graduate of the San Antonio’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Alexander Briseño Leadership Development Program.
