MINNEAPOLIS – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces Kids in Need Foundation has signed a long-term, 74,364-square-foot lease at 200 S. Owasso Boulevard E., a well-located industrial property in Little Canada, Minnesota. Transwestern Executive Vice President John Thompson and Senior Vice President Alex Baron represented the owner, JHM Owasso Properties, in lease negotiations.

Kids in Need Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing supplies and resources to teachers and students in underserved schools, plans to relocate and occupy the entire building later this spring. Previously located in St. Paul, just three miles from the new location, the Foundation’s move will accommodate its need for additional space to better serve the community. The new facility will allow Kids in Need  to enhance its mission by offering a resource center where teachers can access donated school supplies at no cost.

“We’re proud to welcome a mission-driven organization like Kids In Need Foundation to the building,” said Thompson. “This lease not only activates the property with a full-building user, but also supports a nonprofit making a meaningful impact in the community. It’s a win for our client and a long-term investment in the strength and purpose of the local area.”

200 S. Owasso Boulevard E. offers nearly 20,000 square feet of office space and 55,000 square feet of warehouse space. The 5.48-acre property also boasts 54 surface parking spaces and outdoor storage options.

Kids in Need Foundation was represented by Stephen Davidson of Davidson Companies Inc.
