Retail Availability at Class A Campus Shrinks to 7,468 SF

September 23, 2024

HOUSTON – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) and Nuveen Real Estate announce that Intown Golf Club has signed a 14,075-square-foot lease at Four Oaks Place,  the 2.3 million-square-foot, Class A campus in Uptown Houston. The members-only club will fully occupy the existing building located at 1415 South Post Oak Lane.

“We are thrilled to welcome Intown Golf Club to Four Oaks, where it will serve as a premier amenity for both our tenants and the local community,” said Skylar Huth, Director of Workplace, Retail & Mixed-use at Nuveen. “Intown's decision to launch their first Texas club here at Four Oaks highlights the strategic value of this location, which draws a strong user base from both our robust office community and the surrounding neighborhoods.”

Set to open in the summer of 2025, Intown will accommodate over 200 guests at once and has already begun accepting membership applications. The social club will feature a comprehensive food and beverage program, an indoor putting green, eight simulator bays and golf lounges equipped with Trackman Technology, men's and women's locker rooms, a covered patio, and a spacious outdoor area with a planned putting green.

"We think most cities in America need more accessible golf options, and new ways to discover the game. And we have all the golf elements green-grass facilities have… just indoors. And within a beautiful space that puts a real emphasis on design and amenities.” Added Michael Williamson, Co-Founder and CEO of Intown Golf Club. “At the end of the day, we strive to be a club that prides itself on a high level of service and a unique membership community, something all the great clubs in the world have.”

Transwestern’s Crystal Allen and Paula Musa are currently marketing the 7,468-square-foot second generation space as the last retail availability on the Four Oaks Place campus. The former Wells Fargo site touts Post Oak Boulevard frontage, a patio opportunity and access to nearly 5,000 on-campus employees.

"This is an exceptional opportunity for a restaurant concept looking to establish a presence in the Uptown market," said Allen. "Spaces in locations like this are rare, and we are excited to explore how we can further enhance the offerings at the Four Oaks Place campus."

In October 2023, it was announced that The Mexican, a Dallas-based fine-dining Mexican restaurant , will open its first Houston location in a newly constructed 10,000-square-foot space in the Central Plaza. Construction on The Mexican will begin later this year and is set to be completed in early 2026.
